Photographs from ca. 1905 to ca. 1970 representing virtually the entire range of activities of Spokane's premier department store. Photographs include exterior and interior views, window displays exhibiting a range of clothing styles, home furnishings and household appliances over time, delivery trucks, activities of personnel, portraits of Robert A. Paterson, a later president, a few other Spokane buildings including the Exchange National Bank next to the Crescent on Riverside and Spokane Dry Goods Co. on Lincoln. Photographs of Crescent floats in Spokane parades are also included.
